Who we are?
IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria.
IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in the Northern Aleppo/Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host communities through 20 healthcare facilities and other health and nutrition projects
During last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Heath, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp Management
Specific Responsibilities:
- -Supervise, repair, and install medical equipment in all the medical facilities that are affiliated with the association in Syria.
-Service provider should provide services quickly once he/she is notified by the association’s management.
-Service provider is committed to respond to assigned missions which is related to the north of Syria (Oxygen generator, al=Salamah Border Hospital, PHCs at the Camps ) in addition to the Pediatric Hospital in Aleppo City and Children Care projects with high priorities.
-Service provider should provide monthly reports about the administrative activities that he/she conducts or assigned to.
- Service provider should put technical conditions and descriptions for the medical equipment that the association wants to buy or order.
-Service provider should participate in meetings, unsealing offers committee, or in technical discussions when the association assigns him/her for it.
-All information that the service provider has - due to his/her work which are related to IDA – are considered confidential. It is not allowed to be uncovered without a prior authorization by IDA’s Administration or judicial procedures.
-Service provider should report about any activities, actions, or persons he discovers in his work that target the facilities or the equipment that are under the association’s supervision.
-The Program Coordinator in IDA is the direct supervisor on the services provider, all reports and information should be provided to him or his deputy.
-Service provider should commit to agreed dates and respect them.
-Service provider should write monthly reports as well as periodical ones that explain the general conditions of the equipment and how to develop the medical infrastructure and the necessary needs.
-Do other duties -within the area of experiences- assigned by the Program Coordinator.
Qualifications:
Context/Specific skills, knowledge, and experience:
- -Academic Certificate in Medical Engineering
-Interested in conducting basics of Medical Engineering and Medical Tools
-Computer skills (Office Microsoft)
