Purpose of the Position:

To support the implementation of the Food Processing Component of the project in Douma, by conducting field follow-up of the women-led food processing workshop, providing technical and administrative support, and ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and follow up on field activities related to the Food Processing Component under the supervision of the Team Leader.
• Monitor the application of food safety and hygiene standards and oversee quality processes in the women-led food processing workshop.
• Provide technical support in food processing, packaging, and quality control.
• Collect accurate field data on workshop activities and enter it into approved templates.
• Prepare weekly/monthly field reports and submit to the Team Leader.
• Coordinate with the technical team on equipment, raw materials, and logistical needs.
• Contribute to enhancing women’s and community participation in related activities.
• Ensure occupational health, safety, and environmental standards are applied in all field activities.

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in Agricultural Engineering, Food Science, or Food Technology (specialization in food processing or related field).
• Practical experience in food processing, agro-industry, or post-harvest activities.
• Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and processing techniques (such as jams, juices, molasses, or similar products).
• Strong skills in communicating with local communities and beneficiaries.
• Ability to prepare field reports and use computer programs (Excel – Word).
• Previous experience with NGOs or development projects is an asset.

Arabic (mandatory) – English (preferred).
