Job Summary:
The GBV Case Management Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing gender-based violence (GBV) response efforts within the Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Idleb/Ariha. This pivotal role ensures effective management of GBV cases while upholding strict confidentiality. The supervisor will guide the case management team, providing essential technical support and conducting regular case reviews to uphold high service delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management Oversight: Lead the case management team, ensuring effective management of GBV cases with a focus on confidentiality and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and conduct regular case reviews to maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Co-lead the GBV Area of Responsibility (AoR) sub-working groups in collaboration with NGOs and international partners to enhance coordination and collaboration among key actors in the region.
- Regularly update the GBV Actor Mapping to maintain a comprehensive overview of organizations involved in GBV programming.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Ensure the adoption and proper translation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the team, promoting consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Assessments and Risk Mitigation: Coordinate and conduct GBV-related assessments, including safety audits, to identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery.
- Capacity Building: Contribute to the capacity building of the case management team, ensuring team members are well-equipped to handle their responsibilities effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, or a related field.
- Proven experience in GBV case management and supervision.
- Strong understanding of GBV issues and the relevant legal framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English is a plus.
