Background:
Sened is an independent non-profit organization established and registered in Türkiye (under No: 27-15-175) in 2013.
•The name “Sened” in Arabic means “support” you could count on.
•Sened was founded in response to The Syrian catastrophe, which led to critical situations and displacement of internally displaced people (IDPs) within Syria. The individuals who faced hardships due to factors such as repression, human rights abuses, and violence against civilians (including bombings, shelling, and sieges) and the urgent needs of millions of Syrian refugees in Türkiye. Later, our projects expanded to include support for the Turkish hosting community of the Syrian refugees. Our work spans across humanitarian sectors, with a special focus on advocating for the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities (PwDs) and their families.

Job purpose: The Field Project Coordinator oversees project implementation, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, and donor requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating teams and stakeholders, tracking progress, managing budgets and reports, and mitigating risks. The role supports quality assurance, drives internal and external communication, and enables adaptive management through M&E findings. It also requires collaboration with field teams to provide technical and operational support, ensuring effective, compliant delivery of project outcomes.
Duties, Objectives, Competencies:
- Direct coordination with the project manager and all project staff.
- Follow up and update the implementation schedule.
- Coordinate activities to ensure effective use of time and resources.
- Capacity building for field team according to team size and structure.
- Submit the required daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Project Manager.
- Commitment to applying the policies and procedures followed in Sened.
- Monitoring the progress and preparing reports on the achievements made on projects.
- Monitor project progress and deal with any problems that arise.
- Coordination and cooperation with the concerned departments (logistical - media - monitoring and evaluation - financial) to complete the project operations.
Coordinating with local councils and authorities to complete the project's activities and report the demands to the project manager.
Additional Responsibilities: The above-mentioned key tasks and duties are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities may be assigned to the job at the request of the head of department according to the need.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Humanitarian Studies, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position for humanitarian organization in Syria context.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), or ERL (Early Recovery and Livelihood) projects implementation.
Intermediate level in the English language.
Desired Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, architecture, or mechanical engineering.
- Familiarity with local regulations, security challenges, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms.
- Advanced skills in report writing.
- Experience in working with PwDs (People with Disabilities).
- Upper-Intermediate level in the English language.
PMP, master’s degree is a plus.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, especially in emergency settings.
- Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and AutoCAD.
