About NSPPL :

The National Syrian Project for prosthetic limbs (NSPPL ) has been established in Feb. 2013 by a group of Syrian doctors overseas to help the people whose parts have been imputed as a result of the Syrian war and provide them with prosthetic parts and the appropriate rehabilitation , and licensed in Syria in Feb. 2025 as The Syrian Foundation for Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation.

NSPPL is a non-profit organization which serves people in Syria and Turkey.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Initial assessment of patients' conditions (medical, psychological, living, social) and determining needs based on that (individual sessions within the center or field visits).
2. Develop an appropriate treatment plan for each case in coordination with other departments and follow up on treatment plans with other departments.
3. Regularly update referral cases and the service map in coordination with partners, ensuring that beneficiaries receive the required services before closing the beneficiary's file.
4. Ensure a separate file is maintained for each patient, including a case description and sessions provided.
5. Responsible for the progress of treatment plans for patients in coordination with other departments.
6. Develop daily and weekly work plans for all departments in coordination with them.
7. Maintain patient confidence and confidentiality.
8. Contribute to collective efforts by achieving relevant outcomes as needed.
9. Participate in identifying success stories and ensuring informed consent is obtained from the relevant beneficiaries.

Qualifications & requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Sociology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Social Worker , or similar position.
• Provides excellent Arabic writing and speaking skills. English language added value,
• Good experience in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel....) and using the Internet.
• Ability to work within a team structure or in isolation, flexible, and can cope with stressful workload and working with limited resources.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
