Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal awareness sessions for beneficiaries.
  • Provide individual legal consultations related to civil status and property matters, and follow up on beneficiaries’ cases.
  • Contribute to developing session plans and workflows.
  • Prepare and submit session reports.
  • Complete and maintain legal consultation documentation.
  • Ensure the psychological and physical safety of beneficiaries.
  • Provide a safe environment that guarantees confidentiality and privacy during sessions and consultations.
  • Prepare materials and requirements for each session and participate in monitoring and documentation plans within the project.
  • Maintain and regularly update the cumulative legal consultation tracker in line with case developments.
  • Attend regular meetings with the direct supervisor and relevant colleagues to discuss updates.
  • Perform essential administrative tasks in coordination with the HR Department, including job description development and updates, performance appraisal processes, capacity-building plans, attendance follow-up, recruitment processes within the department, supporting HR decisions, and encouraging team compliance.
  • Fully comply with Ata’a Association’s safeguarding policies and procedures, including policies on protection from sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment (PSEAH), and child safeguarding, ensuring the safety and well-being of beneficiaries—especially children—both psychologically and physically across all projects, offices, and facilities, and fostering a safe and supportive environment through full implementation of these policies and their annexes.
